September is the month of restart and for the world of fashion it coincides with the return of sector fairs. There are eight ones arriving in the next few days which will showcase 3,500 brands (an increase of approximately 10% compared to 2022) and for which 45 thousand buyers in total are expected. Stories of raw materials, machinery and collections that present excellence, innovation and trends, in balance between present and future. First appointment on 9 and 10 September in Florence with Date - Shaping Avantgarde, an event dedicated to avant-garde eyewear. Then we will move to Milan where at Fieramilano (Rho), from the 15th to the 18th, the Homi Fashion&Jewels Exhibition takes place, with a focus on the excellence of bijoux, jewelery and fashion accessories.
Partially simultaneously, from 17 to 20 September, the other fairs of the Italian fashion system will be held: Micam - International footwear exhibition, Mipel - International exhibition dedicated to leather goods and fashion accessories and TheOneMilano - Outerwear and haute à porter. Finally, again at Fieramilano from 19 to 21 September here is Lineapelle, an international exhibition dedicated to the leather, accessories, components, synthetic, fabrics and models sectors for footwear, leather goods, clothing and furniture, Mipel Lab (exhibition format dedicated to the sourcing of high-quality leather goods level where international brands and designers meet the main Italian producers) and Simac Tanning Tech, the international exhibition of machinery and technologies for the footwear, leather goods and tanning industries.
Eight fairs which will showcase the proposals of 3,500 brands in total and which will see exhibitors from European companies, but also from the Far East and Asia: among the countries represented there are, in addition to France, Spain, Germany, Turkey also India, Japan and China. The theme of sustainability acts as a common thread, which refers to raw material selection and production practices that are attentive to the environment and people. But "green" is also expressed in the Green Deal of innovation, that of a new growth strategy based on a resource-efficient and competitive economy.
