Pitti Uomo, Florence's Fortezza da Basso reignites the show
There are 825 brands, 41 percent of them foreign, ready to present their new summer collections during the four-day fashion and lifestyle event that once again brings the protagonists of the international fashion scene to Florence. In fact, from June 13rd to 16th, the summer edition of Pitti Uomo, number 104, declined on the theme 'Pitti Games', returns to the city. For the occasion, the Fortezza da Basso will feature the sign of guest designer Eli Russell Linnetz, founder of ERL. The Californian creative will transform the central square of the Fortezza da Basso into a film set.
Four days to offer a reasoned view of what is happening on the main international fashion scenes - the most interesting designers, emerging brands, special projects - in a path declined into five sections: Fantastic Classic with its selection of authoritative brands, Futuro Maschile - a journey through the styles of the most evolved contemporary menswear, Dynamic Attitude, dedicated to fans of a dynamic lifestyle, Superstyling with trend previews and I Go Out.
Precisely the section dedicated to international brands of clothing, accessories and objects for outdoor life will see a double space: I Go Out will be presented in the Sala della Ronda with a new layout curated by designer Sebastiano Tosi. Also planned is the special participation of Japanese brand Snow Peak with an unprecedented extension in an outdoor space in Fortezza da Basso. Not only menswear then, but also lifestyle and all the most exclusive outdoor, from beachwear to camping and walking accessories. Confirmed the presence of Pittipets, the special area dedicated to animals.
Seventh edition for S|Style, the Fondazione Pitti Discovery exhibition project curated by fashion journalist Giorgia Cantarini, which will welcome for the first time an exclusive partnership with Kering Material Innovation Lab (Kering MIL). Finally, this year's special guest will be Fendi, which will present its Spring/Summer 2024 men's collection in Florence with a special fashion show (by invitation only) scheduled for June 15 in the spaces of Fendi Factory, the Maison's center of excellence in the heart of the Tuscan countryside in Capannuccia (Bagno a Ripoli).
