REMIRA Italia

WEBLABEL for the Digital Passport

WEBLABEL responds to the moves towards traceability being undertaken by the European Community. The regulation for the Digital Product Passport (DPP) will be defined by 2025 and will be operational from 2027.  REMIRA, a leading software house in the Fashion & Luxury market for supply chain management, which has been entrusted by clients such as Fendi, Woolrich, and Salvatore Ferragamo, has not been caught unprepared, quite the contrary. Matteo Sgatti, Regional Sales Manager of REMIRA Italy explains that thanks to the experience gained with WEBLABEL, the company has managed to mark a turning point in the world of intelligent labelling and is able to offer a software application that provides information on textiles, leather goods and footwear products placed on the market, and which responds to a precise need ensuring an innovative solution to comply with new regulations. “Each product can be identified through a

QR-code that links to an easily accessible infographic. But we will go even further, also making the data available to the control bodies, which will thus be able to check its veracity, thanks to a network connected at all times with every link in the production chain.”

WEBLABEL looks to the future; a future where AI algorithms can be used to collect and control information, enabling brands to keep track of everything that happens upstream of the finished product in real time, guaranteeing real transparency where the consumer can also be aware of what he or she is buying in favour of a circular and sustainable economy.
