Tradition and technology for quality heels
Four generations have been dedicating passion, artisan know-how and technological innovation to the production of heels and components for high-end footwear since 1950. The Italcompo company supports fashion brands in the creation of ad hoc heels, designed to satisfy every style requirement: transparent and plexiglass heels, but also galvanised, painted, lacquered, covered with leather, with metal inserts and with LED lights and electronic systems.
The company is structured to manage both the design of the model and prototype in-house, thanks to the modelling department that makes use of CAD, and the moulding, which is done with the latest generation machinery and automated work centres, directly managing the construction of the moulds.
The Italcompo company’s added value is, in fact, that of having flanked the artisan skills handed down by the historical founders with technological production processes to increase the quality of the service and reduce production times.
Last but not least, the focus on sustainability: the Italcompo company is using GRS recycled materials and is in the process of obtaining the ISO 45001 and 14001 certifications; it also uses heat pumps with radiant floor heating and has expanded the power of its existing photovoltaic system to 100 kW, which covers 60% of its energy needs.
