Based on Marcello Macuz’s intuition, he and his wife Alma set up their first small metal parts workshop in 1952. Over the years the company has always been able to stand by its clients, consolidating production, esteem, and friendship with the most important names in High Fashion. Over the past 25 years, Auro Macuz and his family, have transformed the artisan firm into an industry consisting of 3 companies, with over 160 employees and more than 6000 square metres of premises, while maintaining the initial idea and artisanship with which the company was founded and grew. The very high quality of its production is determined by the professionalism of its staff and the constant renewal of its machinery - with pantographs and CNC lathes and state-of-the-art laser engraving and welding machines - without overlooking the passion and attention with which the company supports its clients, starting from an idea or a design up to the delivery of accessories worldwide. Always attentive to ecological and environmental issues, Macuz is currently working on obtaining new system certifications, thanks to a dedicated office. Always in step with the times and responsive to the new challenges that the fashion industry will launch, Macuz is celebrating its 70th anniversary by acquiring new and larger premises for its Scarperia branch and by creating new premises at its historical headquarters in Florence in Viale dei Mille.
