Its approximate one hundred employees are located in four adjoining, modern and functional premises: «We have Lab 1, the beating heart from which research, prototype, and sample development starts, which includes a large showroom and an interactive modelling workshop - explains Serena Cecchini. - Lab 2 deals with high-profile joining for footwear; Lab 3, where high-tech manual work is carried out, with a focus on crystal application. Finally, there is the new Lab 4 (designed to be eco-friendly in the most complete way) which deals with semi-finished products for leather goods, where every piece of machinery is operational in a 4.0 perspective». Serena Cecchini Design is also a young company: «80% of our team is between 20 and 25 years old - the owner explains - trained in-house through three-month courses with a final exam, organised in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and the employment centre of the province of Lucca and the Region of Tuscany».
