Legor wins Sustainability Award 2022

Bressanvido (Vicenza), Oct. 19th, 2022 - Legor, a company specializing in metallurgy and chemistry for the production of jewelry and fashion accessories, wins the Sustainability Award - sponsored by Credit Suisse and Kon Group - for the second year in a row, being included in the ranking of the Top 100 sustainable companies and in the ranking of the Top 50 companies that, by participating in both editions, achieved the most significant increases in ESG rating, issued by ALTIS Alta Scuola Impresa e Società dell'Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Reprisk. The Sustainability Award-promoted by founding partners Credit Suisse and Kon Group, joined by ALTIS as institutional scientific partner, Reprisk as technical partner and Forbes as Media Partner-is a high-value recognition that rewards the ability of those virtuous companies that have demonstrated that they are pursuing sustainable, inclusive and stable growth, while also creating added value for the community and future generations.
 
The evaluation took place through the administration of self-assessment questionnaires that were proposed to the 200 award candidates admitted to the final round. The organizers undertook to personally hand over the ESG rating reports to all participants and to organize one-on-one meetings with each of them in the following months to delve into the elements of improvement with respect to the current situation and pave the way for the third edition, which, in addition to the current participants, wants to further expand the audience of sustainable companies to which this opportunity will be offered.
 
Legor, which has made the concept of responsibility an integral part of its DNA, setting up processes, systems and resources in order to be able to reduce its environmental and social impact, for the second year in a row wins the Sustainability Award by being included in the ranking of the Top 100 sustainable companies and in the ranking of the Top 50 companies - with the mention Performance Social - that, by participating in both editions, have achieved the most significant increases in ESG rating.
