The first step of the partnership between the National Association of Italian Manufacturers of Footwear, Leather Goods and Tannery Technology - Assomac - and the International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians - UITIC - will be the joint presence of the two entities at the Simac Tanning Tech exhibition event from September 20th to 22nd, 2022 at Fiera Milano Rho. Several initiatives have been put in place, starting from the debut of the new information platform to the rich panel of workshops and talks hosted in the pavilions of the event, passing through important partnerships such as the one with ICE Agency, which, as usual, will facilitate the arrival of trade delegations from different parts of the world, and with SPS Italia, declined in the technology corner dedicated to Industry 4.0. All under the banner of a common denominator focused on relationships, which are essential to make the fair the place to systemize and forge collaborations between players in order to make Simac Tanning Tech the strategic platform of technologies for the fashion industry. The other big news was the announcement that the 21st UITIC congress will be held in September 2023 between Milan and Vigevano, at the same time as Simac Tanning Tech. The real soul of this agreement was undoubtedly Assomac President Maria Vittoria Brustia, who explained the details of this project that will bring at least 300 industry experts to Lombardy and, thanks to the commitment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, another 200 journalists, buyers and influencers.

"As for the congress set for September 2023, since the first contacts we have felt affinity and a bond that connotes a common goal, that is, to spread and create an open and shared system in order to all improve and grow, with a healthy competitive and collaborative tension at the same time. Vigevano has been chosen as Milan's partner because it is home to the footwear and tanning mechano district."
Appointment then with Simac Tanning Tech, September 20th-22nd, 2022 at Fiera Milano Rho, with previews of the 21st UITIC World Congress.
