The presentation of the second edition of THINKBAG, the project promoted by Leather&Luxury and Loipell for the promotion of tomorrow's designers, was held on February 16 at the Florentine seat of Polimoda. The competition involves two classes of the prestigious fashion institute for the realization of a bag, from the sketch to the packaging: the third year of the Leather Technology course and the students of the Master 2021/22 in Bag Design. "THINKBAG is first of all an opportunity of growth for the students as well as a first showcase to showcase their creativity" - says Matteo Rovelli, Marketing and Communication Manager of Leather&Luxury.

After the success of the first edition, THINKBAG returns in a smart and even more structured form with the participation of several L&L partner suppliers who will provide students with raw materials and expertise for the creation of their bag. The process involves five steps starting from February/March with the workshop between students and suppliers until May 25, 2022, the date of delivery of the prototypes and the announcement of the winner by a jury of experts. The winning bag will then be promoted by L&L at the Lineapelle and Mipel fairs in September 2022 and produced in ten pieces by Loipell to then be marketed in selected boutiques.

Among the novelties of this second edition, the possibility to follow all the stages of the competition through video-streaming and interviews that can be followed on and on L&L's social channels.
