The collaboration between Leather&Luxury and Polimoda continues with two training projects dedicated to the students of the Bag Design and Fashion Design Management courses. A concrete opportunity for confrontation with the world of production, which aims at enhancing the talent of the new generations through real design, development and prototyping paths, realised in synergy with some of the most important companies in the fashion supply chain.

THINK BAG, now in its fourth edition, the contest dedicated to the students of the Master in Bag Design, called upon to design and create the iconic accessory par excellence: the bag. In collaboration with Loipell, and thanks to the support of the partner companies Idea Ricamo, CDC, Creazioni Lorenza, Rino Mastrotto, David Leather Expression, Oreste Mariani, Conceria il Ponte, Italiana Accessori, Ceitex, Lampo di Giovanni Lanfranchi, Labam and Taurini Pianeta Gemme. The finalist designers presented their prototypes: bags that are unique in terms of concept, materials and identity, reflecting the different cultural origins and personal journey of each one.

Now in its second edition, .BE YOUR FABRIC, the contest promoted by Leather&Luxury and Polimoda together with the Bellandi textile company, is dedicated to the fourth-year students of the Fashion Design Management course. CDC, Labam, Air collection, Il Marchio D’oro, Bellandi, Lampo di Giovanni Lanfranchi, Modimex and Visa Fashion.

These projects were created with the aim of creating a bridge between education and industry, offering students the opportunity to measure themselves against real briefs, professional deadlines and industry stakeholders. A training experience that stimulates creativity, design vision and the ability to work in a team, fundamental elements for those preparing to enter the fashion world in a conscious and competitive manner.

The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 27 May at Villa Favard, Polimoda's headquarters in Florence, in front of a jury of experts.
