If you are an Italian artisan who stands out for the quality of your product and the excellence of your technique, LVMH could reward you. In fact, this year too, the French group is promoting the Maestri d’Eccellenza Award, created in 2022 in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, with the aim of valorizing Italian artisan talent.
An opportunity for those who keep traditional techniques alive, reinterpreting them in a contemporary way. The call is in fact aimed at artisans and small businesses active in the sectors of fashion, accessories, design and high-end manufacturing. What is rewarded is not only technical excellence and product quality, but also vision, the ability to pass on the craft and generate cultural value starting from one's roots.
Artisans can apply until May 31, 2025, choosing their category: Master Artisan of Excellence, intended for professionals and companies with at least 10 years of experience in creativity and technical expertise applied to the use of local raw materials, also with a view to protecting the supply chain; Emerging Master Artisan of Excellence, intended for those who represent a promising project in the artisan sector born in the 10 years prior to registration for the competition and Master of Innovation of Excellence, for professionals and companies that have distinguished themselves for their capacity for innovation, preserving historical knowledge and skills, reinterpreting them in a modern key.
The winners will be awarded a financial prize of 10 thousand euros, to support the development of their business. In addition, media visibility both nationally and internationally through the main newspapers in the sector, and a year of mentoring by Thélios experts.
The novelty of this third edition is the involvement of Thélios, a reference maison in luxury eyewear. As an active partner, the brand strengthens the link between the award and the world of manufacturing excellence.
The award ceremony will be held during the Milan Fashion Week in September 2025, so as to underline the importance of craftsmanship in the fashion and luxury system.
