Fifty years of experience with the enthusiasm of the first-time

It was 1969 when, in the basement of an apartment, Bruno Barbieri started producing mignons in leather and synthetic materials for footwear; he later moved to an operative workshop, where he founded Bordinificio Barbieri.

A time-honoured company located in Valeggio sul Mincio (VR), the company is now run by his son Gianluca and is specialised in the creation of components for footwear, leather goods, and high-end apparel: not just mignons, but also braids, welts, frameworks, bands, tubulars, and the processing/cutting of leather and synthetic materials.

Over the years, the company has undergone a veritable process of horizontal expansion, entering other markets. Bordinificio Barbieri works for High Fashion brands, but also for the jewellery, health, safety, and sportswear sectors.

The company’s ability to adapt to the emerging needs of the market has enabled it to consolidate its position in the components sector throughout Italy.

Continuous investments in technology and training have enabled the company to expand its range of products, producing made-to-measure components that stand out for the quality of their details and craftsmanship.
