The embroidery atelier for designers looking for inspiration
Ricami Laura is a Mecca for creative artisanship where there is no limit to embroidery experimentation, with an archive of over 4000 pieces from past collections.
Founded in the 1990s, the company became the place where Gianfranco Ferré’s ideas took shape with constructed embroidery that looked like an architectural project.
Specialized in manual machine embroidery, the company now collaborates with the biggest fashion houses to create unique pieces and embroidery for prêt-à-porter. The hand of the 42 women who grew with the company represents its true competitive advantage: not being bound to electronic programs and equipment enables the company to create embroidery samples in 48 hours. In its manufacturing department, the company also creates custom embroidered dresses for the red carpet.
A place where the art of an ancient craft opens to innovation, proud to show its expertise to fashion schools and insiders to pass on the tradition of true Made in Italy.
