Tessitura Armand Saccal
Satin, crepe, moiré and various textiles
The ideal partner for the development of new textile projects
The TAS group closed its fiscal 2017 year with a turnover of over 9 million euro, while Tessitura Armand Saccal is preparing to celebrate a good 90 years of activity this year, consolidating its primacy in the production of MOIRE fabrics and expanding its range of linings for the footwear, leather goods and clothing sectors.
A group in constant activity and evolution with a lean structure, making flexibility its strong point, to support its clients during the entire article construction process: from weaving to dyeing up to finishing, with very reduced working times.
TAS offers its clients a frame room with 40 dobby and jacquard looms, in addition to watering, calandering, transfer printing and no-fray departments that enable the creation of fabrics in the most varied typologies and compositions. Quality and innovation are values that characterize the whole group’s activity.
This is why quality control provides a complete in-house traceability, from the choice of the fibres to the shipment of the finished product. An in-house laboratory has also been created for colour testing to ensure compliance with client requests.
TAS is at the forefront of research and development of new technological solutions and innovative fibres. The polyurethane and PVC fibres, treatments with carbon-ceramics, and steel, copper or rubber core fibres bear witness to this. Moreover, the company is also working on a new collection based on single filament nylon fibres, dyed with artisan and airbrushing techniques: up to eight colour combinations in the same procedure on linen and nylon, to propose a product that is increasingly in line with personalized.
