Paoletti Tessuti was founded in the 1970s by the entrepreneur Adolfo Paoletti. Since then, the company has undergone a constant evolution that has spanned over fifty years as well as endless challenges to remain competitive on the market.
«Paoletti Tessuti produces textiles, both processed and unprocessed, for the leather goods, footwear, furnishing, and apparel sectors - says second-generation owner Andrea Paoletti. For some time now we have been working towards an increasingly responsible production method, inaugurating a new development model where attention to the environment, respect for people, and economic sustainability coexist. We are working to introduce sustainable products to the market no longer as an alternative, but as the only responsible choice».
This is how “P.eco” came to be, a project launched by Paoletti Tessuti back in 2015 with the construction of a new production plant powered with a latest-generation photovoltaic system. The intention is to create a production environment with low energy consumption and therefore reduced environmental impact.
«With P.eco we aim to create an ethical and eco-sustainable product - continues Andrea - using raw materials from recycling, opting for threads from organic crops, and using alternative energy sources».
In this context, Paoletti Tessuti has obtained the international BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certifications, a further guarantee of a concrete commitment to environmental preservation.
The future is now for a Made in Italy where excellence must also become synonymous with eco-sustainability.
