Production of processed and unprocessed fabrics for leather goods, footwear, décor, and apparel
The Paoletti Tessuti company was founded in the 1970s by the entrepreneur Adolfo Paoletti. Since then, the company has undergone a constant evolution that has spanned over fifty years of history. «Paoletti Tessuti produces fabrics, both processed and unprocessed, for the leather goods, footwear, décor, and apparel sectors - says the second-generation owner, Andrea Paoletti - For some time now, we have been moving towards an increasingly responsible production, through a new model of development where attention to the environment, respect for people, and economic sustainability coexist. We are working to introduce sustainable products onto the market no longer as an alternative, but as the only responsible choice». To this end, the company has obtained the important certifications: BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), GRS (Global Recycle Standard) and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). This is how “P.eco” came to be, a project started by Paoletti Tessuti in 2015 with the construction of a new production plant powered by a latest generation photovoltaic system, for a production environment with low energy consumption, consequently with a reduced environmental impact.
