There is something surprisingly alive in the embroideries of SEAB’s Fall Winter 26/27 collection, a company specialized in creating exclusive accessories for the fashion industry. A material movement that breaks through surfaces and extends beyond outlines. «We wanted the embroidery to become structure; something you could feel, not just see», says Roberto Scannerini, commercial manager. Among the new proposals is a reinterpretation of the sponge stitch, traditionally used for raised finishes. SEAB combines it with a particular weaving technique to achieve a surprising “lamb’s wool effect”. The result is a voluminous texture, silky to the touch, with a couture feel yet familiar—something you want to touch. Inspired by a painting, there is also an embroidery depicting a horse: a technical mix combining 3D embroidery and long stitches, finished with a combed thread brushed until it creates a soft, free tuft, like the mane of a running horse. And this is exactly the sensation: pure movement that emerges from the design, floating and alive. The collection also includes true embroidered patchworks that combine different techniques: lace, organza, honeycomb patterns, customizable tatami bases, all held together by a codone that assembles them. A creative play where each fragment has its own distinct materiality, in a dynamic balance. Finally, the cannetille: a tubular metallic thread, entirely hand-embroidered following an ancient tradition that SEAB keeps alive in its workshops in India and Pakistan. «The embroiderer cuts each segment, thre-ads it through the needle, and sews it following the design pattern», Scannerini explains. With a color palette exceeding 250 shades, cannetille is not just gold and silver, but a brilliant and sophisticated palette. With this collection, SEAB does not just embroider: it scul pts and gives movement to matter.
