In the world of high-end leather goods, shapes are becoming smaller, but the complexity of craftsmanship is increasing. Clutches, wallets, micro bags, and gift items demand impeccable quality on increasingly limited spaces. For this reason, Del Vecchia has chosen to focus its research on sewing machine accessories: presser feet, plates, guides, and support devices have become essential tools. The right accessory can transform a complex process into a smooth, precise, repeatable step. When working on clutches and coin purses, the working area is often less than a few centimeters, and relying on standard components is no longer enough.
This has led to the development of a new generation of accessories: ultra-compact presser feet and plates, designed to reach previously inaccessible corners and tackle tight curves with maximum precision. This necessity required a complete redesign of some machine parts, giving rise to a line of custom components, created through close collaboration with specialized partners—turning a standard machine into a tool capable of operating where it once seemed impossible.
A true technical reconversion that makes it possible to handle complex operations even on delicate leathers or irregular shapes. The reduced presser foot, the special plate, the modified feed dogs: each element contributes to the creation of a new system, engineered to combine ease of handling with millimetric precision, optimizing machine performance and expanding the range of special processes.
