In the latest collections, leather has returned to the centre of attention. The numbers speak clearly: for the Autumn/Winter 2025 season, there is a 50% growth, and the international fashion shows confirm this trend. Designers seem to have rediscovered leather as a privileged material, capable of expressing a unique versatility.

There could not have been a better moment to launch the first edition of the Lineapelle Designer Edition, created to give visibility to talents who choose to place leather at the core of their creations.

From 23 to 29 September, alongside Milan Fashion Week, the event promoted by UNIC – Italian Tanneries and Lineapelle, now at its eighth edition, changed its setting. From the Rho Fiera pavilions, it moved to the new Spazio Lineapelle in via Tomasi di Lampedusa, an urban location designed to foster closer contact with the public and the creative world.

The programme featured 9 fashion shows and 8 presentations of contemporary brands, in an exciting mix that brought together established names – such as 1972 DESA, Marco Rambaldi and Alberto Zambelli – and emerging talents to discover, including Maragno and Lorenzo Seghezzi.

The Spazio Lineapelle proved to be a key venue to refocus attention on the most authentic material and responsible by excellence, once again showcasing its versatility and beauty. At the same time, it gave the participating brands the chance to reveal a new side of their creative vision, offering the international audience the opportunity to discover fresh and original collections during one of the most important moments for Italian and global fashion.
