PFM Accessori showcases an entirely Made in Italy production rooted in Arezzo, where expertise in die casting and close collaboration with clients transform metal into components developed for leather goods and fashion

In leather goods, a snap hook, buckle or attachment may occupy just a few centimetres, but it can have a significant impact on the overall project. These components must function properly, fit the proportions of the product and interact with the design of a handbag, shoe or garment. PFM Accessori has been working in this field for over thirty years, with production based in Arezzo and a specialisation in metal components for leather goods.

The catalogue includes toggles, attachments and D-rings, buckles, studs, rings, sliders and other components. Alongside fashion, PFM also works on a contract-manufacturing basis, producing precision mechanical components and furnishing accessories. Metalworking is therefore applied across different sectors, while leather goods remain at the heart of the company’s activities.

One of the key elements of the production process is die casting, supported by a specialised machinery fleet. This is where a significant part of the work takes shape, starting from the characteristics required of each individual accessory and its final application.

Many projects begin directly through dialogue with the client. A request, a functional requirement or a detail to be developed becomes the starting point for creating the necessary component. PFM works from these inputs, supporting the development of the accessory and assessing, each time, how to translate the initial idea into a manufacturable solution.

The experience accumulated over more than thirty years plays a particularly important role at this stage. Understanding die casting and the behaviour of metal accessories means being able to address requirements that vary according to the product, its intended use and the project. Each input therefore opens a process that leads from the initial request to the definition of the component.

PFM serves clients across Europe and worldwide, while production remains at its Arezzo facility, within an entirely Made in Italy supply chain. It is a structure that has grown over time around local manufacturing, while maintaining an international reach.

The journey begins with metal ingots and ends with an accessory destined to become part of a handbag, shoe or other finished product. Between these two stages are die casting, machinery, decades of experience and continuous dialogue with the client. PFM takes an initial request through to production, keeping the heart of its manufacturing operations in Tuscany.
