For its upcoming September edition, Première Vision Leather, the largest and most prestigious Luxury fashion trade fair dedicated to the world of leather and fur, once again promises important new developments.
337 exhibitors will reunite for the global event for professionals from the fashion sector, in Hall 3 at Villepinte, Paris Nord from September 13 – 15 2016, to present their Autumn Winter 2017/18 collections.
Europeans make up 75% of exhibitors, with a majority of companies coming from Italy,
18% from France, 12% from Turkey and 8% from the Iberian Peninsula. Every company comes from a country where leather has a long history and a prestigious tradition. Fourteen new tanneries, chosen by the Selection Committee for the quality of their products, will be joining the show. These include Conceria Deluxe, a member of the Nuti Ivo Italian group, with its sheepskins, the Turkish Hamanli company, offering exceptional quality lambskins, and the Italian Foglizzo company with its products for the saddlery and leather goods markets. In the exotic leathers sector, we welcome the Columbian TopCroc company, a major supplier of caiman skins.
The textiles for accessories sector welcomes back the Fratelli Morelli company, with a wide range of textiles from the most technical to the most natural.
In this Autumn/Winter season, shearling leathers and furs for the ready-to-wear sector are in high demand.
Wanger, the leader in chinchilla fur, joins Première Vision with a collection that offers an infinite pantone of colours, followed by the Greek Expopel company, which offers surprising evelopments in mink, sable, fox, coyote, chinchilla, lynx, rabbit, and raccoon furs. To fully appreciate the complementarity between the various sectors that make up Première Vision Paris, a new Shoe Focus forum in Hall 4 of Première Vision Accessories will bring together the technical and decorative components specifically designed for shoes with leather and textiles on display at Première Vision Leather.
To optimize visiting the show, an access tunnel will link the north areas of Halls 3 and 4, permitting a direct communication between the Première Vision Leather Trend Gallery and the Shoe Focus forum of Première Vision Accessories. Another development at this edition is the Incube forum, whose primary focus will be on innovation in the leather sector and will spotlight the traceability of raw materials as well as the various stages of transformation they are subjected to. Quality is not only limited to the tactile properties of leather, but also encompasses its origins and the impact its manufacturing process has on the environment.
