OSMO-HTF is an industrial holding company in Arzignano (VI) founded by four partners - Andrea Piazza, Ludovico Massignan, Fabrizio Nicoletti, and Paolo Armelli - whose core-business is the production and sale of technical chemicals and dyes for the tanning sector.
The OSMO-HTF Group’s team develops processes for wet-leather processing through which it seeks to raise awareness and steer companies towards a reduced environmental impact of their production. The Group’s first process to kick-start this virtuous path of environmental sustainability is COSMOWHITE: «This is a “biodegradable leather” system - the owners explain – that is metal-free and aldehyde-free, as well as chrome-free, which was first presented in 2016 and boasts a global process patent». A starting point from which the OSMO-HTF Group has not stopped since then: «Our research never stops - the owners continue - Among other innovations, we have developed an “osmotic nappa” and a series of products with a high percentage of bioderived substance as well as a water-based matt varnish, to which we add new technologies with the double-printing effect, an item we have named Amsterdam».
